Julian is a writer and comedian whose work has appeared in Maxim, McSweeney’s, Women’s Health, and Cosmopolitan. Recent festival appearances include Bergamot Fest, Laughing Skull, Hell Yes Fest, and Big Pine, the last of which earned him a Best of Fest award.
He has been seen on Comedy Central Digital and FuseTV, and has performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade, Nerdmelt, and Pack theaters. As a television writer, he has written for Primo TV’s Five @ 305, developed a project for Playstation, and was a quarterfinalist in the Warner Brothers Writers Workshop.
Julian has developed his show Julian Stern Keeps Trying at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022-2024, and previously workshopped it at the Comedy Central Stage, Lyric Hyperion Theater, and at theaters in NY, Denver, and D.C. It will never be finished.
