BIOGRAPHY: Hayward J. Thompson aka Comedian Hay J Thompson
I currently have over 15 years of experience in the field of Stand-up Comedy. Additionally, I have a comedy special on Amazon Prime, titled “I Aint No Joke,” and a comedy album available on most streaming platforms, called “The Hay-J Experience.” Volume 1. Furthermore, I am a regular contributor to the “Anna & Raven Show” on multiple syndicated radio shows across the country. I have appeared in 4 movies: White Boy Rick, Native Son, White Noise & Heart Strings. I also play a character, Craig Hill, on the tv series St. Marks. St Mark’s is slated for production this summer and has won multiple awards at the NYC Film Festival 2024. I am also the standup comedy teacher for Improv Cincinnati ( comedy theater troop) Lastly, I am also the Regional Director of Talent Acquisition for Applause International, an award winning talent company as well as being a graduate of the NYC Tisch School of Business with a certificate in The Business of Entertainment (2024).
I am blessed to be able to do all types of comedy for many diverse types of audiences. Color, gender, nationality etc… none of that is a deterrent for me with regards to putting on a great show. I have toured with some musicians and done some arenas, theaters and festivals across the country.
