A native New Yorker, Elyssa started in comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade, performing improv and sketch comedy. After moving to Los Angeles, she became the first Artistic Director of The Pack Theater in Hollywood, and started performing stand-up in local clubs. Since stepping down from The Pack, Elyssa can be seen doing stand-up all over California, and regularly at The Comedy Store in both Hollywood & La Jolla, The Hollywood Improv, and The Ice House, where she most recently opened up for Iliza Schlesinger. Elyssa can also be seen hitting all the one-liner jokes on some of T.V.’s most popular shows, including “Hacks”, “Silicon Valley”, “Fresh Off The Boat”, and “The Mindy Project”, as well as voicing characters in animation. She is also very, very single.
