Esther Nevarez is a stand up comedian, improviser, writer, and actor currently residing in sunny LA by way of not so sunny Detroit. She has performed in various festivals, including The Boston Women in Comedy Festival and New York City’s Laughing Devil and She-Devil Festivals. Esther was featured on the Fox/Hulu TV show “Laughs” and was also a member of the Detroit WJBK Fox 2 Morning’s “Comedy Council” segment. She has featured for a variety of comedians, including Micheal Che, Rob Delaney and Jim Norton. She’s a graduate of Go Comedy Improv Theater, Planet Ant Improv Theater and has taken classes with UCB, The Pack Theater, and The Second City Hollywood Conservatory where she was a member of the digital sketch group Brawny. She’s currently a member of the improv group Thank You Five and a cast member of the sketch show This Week This Week. She’s also the cohost of the “We’re Freaking Out” and “That’s My Shit” podcasts.
