Carrie Ross is an emerging comic and writer originally from Metro Detroit, Michigan. Her peculiar takes on daily life and entertainment of absurd hypotheticals quickly helped her stand out among Boston’s distinguished comics. Effortlessly funny, she manages to make even the darkest, most bizarre material hilarious and accessible to audiences; also, she’d love it if you’d giggle before she has to return to the mothership. She’s relocated to Brooklyn but has performed all around New England and other areas of the country, including New York, Baltimore, and Iowa. She has been featured in Thunderfest, The She-Devil Comedy Festival, The Sixth City Comedy Festival, CloudTop Comedy Festival, The North Carolina Comedy Festival, The Boston Comedy Festival, The Charm City Comedy Festival, The Floodwater Comedy Festival and the Blue Ridge Comedy Festival. She also made it to the finals in the Funniest Person in Massachusetts competition (summer of 2019), and she placed 1st in the One Liner Madness competition (summer of 2019).
