Anjelica Scannura is a NY-based comic originally from Toronto.  She’s performed at prestigious venues such as Massey Hall and The Wilbur, and is the 2024 Winner of the Boston Comedy Festival.  She is the first Canadian woman to win the competition.  You can stream her EP with JFL Originals on all audio-streaming platforms and hear it on Sirius XM Comedy Club.  She did viral woman-on-the-street content for Just For Laughs Toronto 2023.

She’s taped for TV at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival ‘22 now on CBC Gem, and has been featured on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud numerous times. She’s opened for Shane Gillis, Joe List, Krystyna Hutchinson, Stavros Halkias, Rachel Feinstein, Colin Mochrie and Greg Morton.

She currently produces the Haymaker Comedy Festival, now going into its 4th year.

Also an actress, her credits include Disney’s Camp Rock, APTN’s Renegade Press, CTV’s Satisfaction, PBS’s Frankie Drake Mysteries, TIFF feature Manson, My Name is Evil, and feature film Little Italy (supporting alongside Hayden Christensen and Emma Roberts).
