Ashley Singleton is a writer, comedian, and K-drama enthusiast. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Ashley spent three years living in LA where she studied comedy and screenwriting at The Groundlings, UCB, and a UCLA Extension program. She’s performed stand-up at The Hollywood Improv, The Laugh Factory HW and Chicago, and The Comedy Store. As a Utah native — you guessed it — she grew up Mormon. Whether it’s joking about the devil’s nectar (coffee!) or the immodesty of female shoulders, she lovingly pokes fun at the somewhat bizarre culture she grew up in. Like everyone, she faced hardships growing up but has used those experiences as the foundation for her comedic writing. If you can’t laugh about the shit that happens in life, what’s the point? Ashley is a dedicated, humorous, and passionate writer who uses words and stories to shine a bright light in an often dark world.
