Char Ramtin is a stand-up comedian based in San Diego who performs at venues such as The Comedy Store in Hollywood, The Comedy Store in La Jolla, The Hollywood Laugh Factory, various Improv locations, Hermosa Comedy & Magic Club, Mic Drop Comedy, The American Comedy Company, and others. Her blunt yet playful take on an eclectic range of topics and personal experiences has led her to open for notable comedians including Bobby Lee, Yannis Pappas, Erik Griffin, Monty Franklin, and more. Recently, Char performed at the Netflix is a Joke festival at The Hollywood Laugh Factory, opening for Yannis Pappas. She also earned “Best of Fest” honors at the 2024 Big Pine Comedy Festival, alongside a select group of standout artists. Char performs most frequently at The Comedy Store in La Jolla, where she works as a door guy—a role that allows her to collaborate with and learn from some of the leading comedians in the industry.
