Chaz Rodgers started his comedy career doing stand-up in Lansing, Michigan at eighteen years old. In 2006 He moved to Los Angeles in 2006, where he spent a few hot and musty summer months living in a van eating lemons off of trees. Chaz was saved when Bentley Kyle Evans, show-runner of “Martinâ and
creator of “The Jamie Foxx Showâ, gave him a writing job in 2016.
Since then, Chaz has worked on over one hundred and fifty produced television episodes, most recently, he was head writer and co-executive producer for two seasons of âMillennialsâ on AMCâs ALLBLCK Network. He also was producer and head writer for two seasons of “Partners in Rhymeâ, starring hip hop icon MC Lyte, also for AMC”s ALLBLCK Network.
Chaz blossomed from being homeless, to an experienced television head writer, producer, and comedian. In his personal life Chaz is a newlywed in a multi- cultural marriage with an off-beat family.
