about

Nicolette

Nicolette DiMaggio: Tucson-grown comedian, 2x dance contest winner, is a middle-aged, divorcee, diagnosed bipolar, Sicilian Scorpio. Her current relationship status? “I dare you to date me.” Like Barbie, Nicolette has been annoying her whole life. After surviving 12 years in TUSD (proudly the worst school district in the country), she escaped to Los Angeles to fulfill her dream of becoming a famous… waitress. Fast forward two decades, Nicolette wore many hats: event planner extraordinaire, bass player in four rock bands, wife to a NASA scientist, and, after a pandemic-induced divorce, the prodigal daughter who found herself back in Tucson. Yep, just like in the movies. When she’s not playing the role of “Aunt Nicky” (jazz hands), she creates and sells one-of-a-kind miniature merchandise. A born artist, Nicolette makes something new every day—even if it’s just… someone crazy. Some notable accolades? “Cute but psycho,” “Such beautiful handwriting,” and “Has potential.” As one of the last true Gen Xers, her style is best described as “retro/futuristic.” Her comedy runs the gamut—from squeaky clean to “Oh no, she didn’t.” Endlessly energetic and wildly optimistic, Nicolette believes that everything is magic. Especially pizza.
