Made in China and based in Los Angeles, Olivia Xing has performed at the Comedy Store, Laugh Factory. Her debut hour “Party School” was a sold-out show at Edinburgh Fringe 2023. The British Comedy Guide recommended her as “one to watch: a comedic talent with real potential”, but the Broadway World thought “her broken english did cause issues”.
Olivia is also an actor and writer. Her recent acting credits are Seventeen (Toronto’s Female Eye Film Festival prized Best North America Short), Seven Deadly Sins(Center for New Performance), and Koi Keeper (Starring Shia LaBeouf). The documentary series “Bon Voyage” (S1E3) about her pandemic solo show Rooftop Somnambulism has streamed 10M views on TencentVideo. The theater company she confounded, How Bang Club!, went on to create 20200123Live!, Two Goldfish, and Birds and the Curiosity. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature, French, and Theater from Bryn Mawr College and an MFA in acting from California Institute of the Arts
